Everything you might want to know before turning your expertise into a published book and author platform with Sauthy.
Sauthy turns your knowledge and experience into a real, professionally finished book — and a platform to build your authority as an author and speaker. Instead of facing a blank page, you answer a guided interview, and Sauthy shapes your answers into a complete, well-structured manuscript in your own voice.
It's for professionals, founders, coaches, consultants, clinicians, and experts who have valuable knowledge to share but don't have months to write a book. If you've ever thought "I should write a book someday," Sauthy is the fastest, simplest way to actually do it.
Not at all. You don't have to write a word if you don't want to — you can simply speak or type your answers to the interview questions, and Sauthy does the writing. The goal is to capture your ideas and stories; the craft of turning them into clean chapters is handled for you.
A ghostwriter is expensive and slow. A generic AI chatbot produces hollow, made-up content that doesn't sound like you. Sauthy sits in the middle: it interviews you to capture your real insights and voice, then builds a structured book from your material — plus the design, formats, and author tools you need to actually publish.
In short: you answer a guided interview, Sauthy builds your framework and full draft from your answers, you refine it, then you design the interior and cover and export your finished book. Each step flows into the next, and you can move at your own pace.
Much faster than traditional writing. Many authors get through the interview in a focused sitting or two, see a complete first draft, and then spend a few days refining and designing. There's no deadline — you can do it in a weekend or stretch it over weeks.
Yes — that's the whole point. The interview is designed to capture your voice, your stories, and the way you explain things, so the finished book reads like you wrote it, not like a generic template.
Absolutely. You're in full control. You can rewrite, refine, regenerate sections, add or remove chapters, and polish the wording until it's exactly what you want. Nothing is locked.
Yes. You can bring in existing notes, articles, talks, or draft material to inform your book, so your past work becomes a head start rather than something you redo.
Yes. Your book is created from your own answers, stories, and expertise — written fresh for you. It's your original work.
That's completely normal and easy to fix. You can refine and regenerate any part, add more detail through follow-up questions, and run polishing passes until it feels right. The first draft is a starting point, not the final word.
Yes — 100%. You own your book, its content, and the rights to it. Sauthy does not claim ownership of what you create, and you keep any royalties from sales.
You can export a print-ready interior PDF (for paperback printing), a Word document, and an EPUB (for e-readers). You can also listen to your book read aloud inside Sauthy.
Yes. Sauthy includes a cover designer that creates professional front covers and full print-ready cover wraps. You can generate options, refine them, or upload your own cover if you prefer.
Yes. The interior designer lets you choose a trim size, theme, fonts, chapter openers, and front matter, preview it live, and export a clean, professionally laid-out print-ready file.
Yes. Sauthy can read your book aloud so you can review it by ear — a great way to catch anything that doesn't flow before you publish.
Yes. Sauthy gives you print-ready and e-book files you can upload to self-publishing platforms like Amazon KDP or IngramSpark. You stay in control of where you publish, how you price it, and the royalties you earn.
No. Your book sales and royalties are entirely yours. Sauthy is the tool that helps you create and finish the book — what you do with it afterward is up to you.
You don't need one to create your book in Sauthy. When you publish, most platforms offer a free ISBN, or you can purchase your own if you'd like more control over your listing.
Yes. The interior export is built to meet common print requirements, and the cover wrap is sized to your page count so the spine is correct. The result is designed to upload cleanly to print-on-demand services.
There are three plans:
Annual billing saves you roughly two months compared with paying monthly.
Every plan includes the complete experience: the guided interview, a full book draft built from your answers, content and line-edit polishing, the interior designer, the cover designer, print-ready PDF, Word and EPUB exports, listen-to-your-book audio, and your own Speaker Page. Higher plans let you work on more books at once and include more creative capacity.
Authority lets you keep up to 3 active books at a time, Visionary up to 10, and Luminary is unlimited — ideal for prolific authors or those building a series.
If you're writing your first book, Authority is a great start. Visionary suits authors who want more room to create and is our most popular choice. Luminary is for prolific writers and professionals who want unlimited books and the most capacity.
Yes. You can move up a plan at any time from your account settings, and your new capacity is available right away.
Yes. Choosing annual billing is cheaper than paying month to month — about two months free over the year.
Yes. You can cancel from your account settings whenever you like. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Your books and account stay with you. Some creation and export tools need an active plan, but you won't lose your work — you can reactivate anytime and pick up exactly where you left off.
You can manage your subscription, update your payment method, and view billing details from the billing area in your account settings.
